Ashley's masterful negotiation skills recently saved a client facing excessive charges from a lengthy trial by securing a favorable plea bargain. She excels at crafting win-win solutions, ensuring her clients receive fair outcomes while minimizing conflict. While conflict minimization strategies are used, she still doesn't shy away from the fight, with clients often describing her as a pitbull.
Understanding the emotional challenges of family law, Ashley delivers clear and honest legal guidance. Her direct approach cuts through unnecessary complexities, allowing her to focus on crafting winning legal strategies for her clients. When it comes to child custody matters, Ashley fights tirelessly to ensure children's well-being is at the forefront of every decision. Ashley currently takes appointed matters in Livingston County, as well as private matters in Livingston, Oakland, Washtenaw, Genesee, Ingham, and Wayne County.
Currently, Ashley lives in Hartland, Michigan. Outside the courtroom, Ashley unwinds with challenging jigsaw puzzles, exploring Michigan's lighthouses, and cherished family vacations. A dedicated Disney and Star Wars fan, Moana even soundtracked her Bar Exam studies, a testament to her perseverance and love for a good story. She can be found at trivia nights, spouting random knowledge.
Ashley is currently a District 3 Representative-Elect for the Young Lawyers Section Executive Council.
Ashley is a graduate of Hartland Consolidated Schools, along with her siblings. She, her parents, and siblings still reside in Hartland Township, and are continued supporters of the numerous athletic programs within the District. While completing her undergraduate programs, Ashley was an employee of the District, as a coach for the Swim programs, as well as an involved role with the facilitation of athletic events.
Her Undergraduate studies were at University of Michigan-Flint, where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology, with a concentration in criminal sexual behavior and mental health stigma. She has adopted several observational tools that have carried over into her ability to advocate for clients in several respects.
For Law School, Ashley attended Western Michigan University’s Thomas M. Cooley Law School out of Lansing, MI with honors. A graduation Marshall, teacher’s assistant, graduate studies assistant, and Vice Magister of Phi Delta Phi, Ashley maintained extensive involvement during her law school career. Following law school, Ashley worked in a small firm after passing the 2020 Bar Exam. There, her areas of expertise were criminal defense and Family law. As a female lawyer, Ashley excels in what she does.
